Obituary of Bhyroo Persaud Rai
Bhyroo Persaud Rai (Buntin) was born on June 5th, 1958 in Alness, Guyana. He unfortunately passed away on January 1st, 2025, at the age of 66, in Toronto.
Bhyroo was known for his quiet, polite, and friendly demeanor. He was a man who valued his privacy and was respectful towards everyone. He never imposed himself on others and always had a smile on his face.
Bhyroo is survived by his wife, Rossann; children, Debra (Angela), Bisram (Suresh), Gowkarran (Omish) , and Homedat (Junior) Rai; grandchildren, Brittney, Brandon, Nathan, Aliya, Mya, and Cali Rai.
He was the beloved Father-in-law of Amanda (wife of Bisram) and Sarah (wife of Gowkarran) Rai.
Bhyroo was the son of the late Chandralal Rai and Chanmatee Rai.
Brother of the late Chandica (Buddy) , Pammie, Mitra, and Kamil. Brother-in-law of Asha, Beata, Shirmila and Mahendra. Uncle of Savitree, Rishi, Sunita, Anita, Lisa, Malissa, Ashley, Larisa and Nalica.
Bhyroo was a devoted attendee of the Shri Maha Kali Ammaa Mandir Hindu Association. His faith played a significant role in his life, providing him with comfort and community.
He will be remembered for his gentle spirit and enduring kindness. Bhyroo's presence will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
