Monika Patel or known to her loved ones as Mona, was a remarkable woman who always held her head high and cared for everyone around her endlessly. Mona was born in Hamilton, Ontario on September 26, 1981 and passed away on January 11, 2018, surrounded by family who loved her unconditionally.
Mona leaves behind a loving family: her devoted husband Mehul, her brother Sandip and his wife Smita and their two children Shiv and Dev; her sister Anita, her sister in law Chinkal and her husband Kalyan and their son Rian, her parents Satishbhai, Ilaben, Bhupendrabhai and Kusumben. She also leaves behind a large extended family and friends who will remember and cherish her forever.
Mona met her husband Mehul, 17 years ago during their first year of university and since then they have been inseparable. She was a beautiful, brilliant, and an inspirational woman. Despite her own medical struggles, she was strong until the end and spread happiness to the people around her.
Mona was a loving wife, daughter, sister and friend. Mona, we love you with all of our heart and will never forget you. May you be at peace and God bless you.
