You were not a grandmother to me; you were my other mother. You delivered me at birth, and you would always tell the story of how I was born into your hands. You helped raise me and that’s why I call you “mum”.
I will always cherish the time we spent together, especially in your later years. You inspired me to be a strong and independent woman. You taught me life lessons that I will never forget. You told me stories of your life, successes, and struggles, which left me in awe.
You are now in Heaven with Pa and my dad Glen. I promise to take care of our “Darling Boy” Shastri as best as I can. He knows you are now with God.
The world doesn’t make sense without you and the days are dimmer without your presence. You were a GREAT woman and I will continue to live my life by your example of kindness and grace. May you rest in peace.

Madame Honey was a very kind and generous woman who lived a very fulfilling life. She had a natural eye for beauty, and possessed incredible creative talents that filled her life and the lives of people around her with wonder. She was a lively spirit who would fill any room she was in with colourful songs and dances, and was also incredibly passionate; never afraid to speak up for what she believed in. Madame Honey was a very well traveled and worldly woman, she spent her life adventuring to see her children across the world, and would bring joy wherever she went.
It is with great sadness that the world is losing such an incredible soul. Madame Honey’s presence will be missed in the lives of the people she leaves behind, but she will be remembered, always.

We want to share some of our wonderful memories of Mom. Remembering the "Good Times"!!
Her first ever visit to a strawberry patch, dressed in a Navy blue dress with a large white collar. Her absolute JOY sitting cross legged on the ground between the rows of berries. More berries went in her mouth than in the pail. There was no hiding the fact as that pretty white collar was stained red with berry juice. Her unbridled joy and lack of being naughty when she looked up at us and said "So Sweet"!!!!
She loved her car drives in the country and she never tired of the beautiful scenery.
We lovingly remember her asking (no demanding) shoes and stockings "OFF" so she could wade along the beach on a nearby lake.
She loved nature, watching the birds and hearing their songs, flowers growing and seeing beautiful sunrises and sunsets!!
Small things gave her so much JOY. These will be among some of our fondest memories of Mom, Madame Honey.
