2. Care - she was too caring person. Whenever i used to go my back home. Always tell me please take the family out for dinner by herself. Just think how she was

I really used to enjoy talking to her about any kind of decision because I always used to get new knowledge . I extend my heartiest condolences on sudden and untimely demise of Ekta Ma'am.
It is very unfortunate that i am writing this for ekta mam. I never had a chance to met her personally but i was connected to her through emails and ph. calls related to office work. I remember one incident when i talked to her first time on a call. I was quite nervous but Ekta mam responded in so polite way, listened to me carefully and resolved my query. All the nervousness had gone right there. She was very supportive.
Always heard good things about Ekta mam through ritika.
I will always remeber her as an intelligent, strong, polite, determine and kind person.
May she be rest in heaven and her blessings will be on us.

My sister, Ekta di was an epitome of love and selflessness. She was the one who named me Aditi, which is synonymous with ‘goddess of the sky’ and ‘boundless’ in Sanskrit language, and just like that my beautiful name was born and became the first of many blessings she gave me.
Ekta di was the oldest of us four siblings, and undoubtedly the most responsible and caring. We were 9 years apart in age, and everyone who knew us from family and friends would tell us that we resembled each other in looks and the sound of our voice. Although as a teenager, I didn’t quite like the comparison and attention she would get as a result and I would seldom get repulsed, but with time I grew up to take it as a compliment. I realized that she was strong and intelligent, she was smart and beautiful, and was everything I wanted to be when I grew up.
My sister was my support system away from home when I had first moved to Canada over a decade ago. Since she had been in my shoes before, she knew what it felt like to be away from parents and siblings in a different country. So she made every little effort to ensure that I never felt homesick. Ekta do was good at everything that she put her mind to, whether it was cooking, picking clothes for me, helping me out with school projects, making travel plans, or giving impromptu fashion and makeup lessons. She did it all with so much ease and grace and always aimed for perfection.
The reality is that she took after my mother in providing and caring for me but I could never understand it in its entirety while she was around. There was always an outpouring of love and care, which never stopped. And now that she is gone far away, this has been the most important realization that I would have to live with.
I know that she is watching over me from heaven as I speak. I’m convinced that she is the brightest star in the sky and the next time that I’m sitting alone and staring in space, I want to hold my head high and gather the courage to smile again thinking of her and not cry…I know that I will see her each time that I look up only to find her smiling back at me. I’m beyond grateful that she came to this world to be my older sister. But sad that she left me too soon to figure out this next chapter of my life without her. It’s going to be a long and a rather difficult road ahead for me and I need to step up to care for the ones she has left behind.
It hurts to let go but it hurts equally to hold on to the emptiness within. Thank you Ekta di, for everything! I want you to rest in peace knowing that I will try to do my part in filling your big shoes. I love you to eternity and beyond!

I first met Ekta as a facilitator during university days. She was my editing guru.
Sweet natured, calm and always poised. Not to mention, remarkably beautiful with abounding innocence that broke through every pore of her kind face. She was my favorite.
Fast forward to a couple years since I relocated to Toronto, Canada. We reconnected on Facebook and she graciously invited me to be one of the first people to dine at a new Italian restaurant she was opening. Her kindness, love, grace and beauty still intact, albeit even more pronounced this time around.
We became friends and I had the honor to meet her beautiful family (Anurag, Aevah Aadya, Aditi and Rahul) a couple of times. Every interaction, filled with sincerity, love and so much generosity.
There will be no one quite like you. I hope that you and my dearest Dad cross paths in heaven. Tell him I said hello.
I will see you both when my time here is up.

My mother, who I called Maiya, was the most special, smart, and beautiful person ever. She cared for everyone so dearly and was kind to every person she met. Each moment I spent with her made a new memory, whether it was everyday things like going to the mall or driving to a class, or special things, such as going on vacation. She always took care of me and put me first, making me feel really loved. She was the force holding the family together.
Her beautiful smile brightened my day. I always looked forward to coming home and eating the yummy food she prepared. I still remember those delicious cookies and I am sure everyone here remembers them. My mom has had such a big impact on my childhood and, even though she left for heaven a few days ago, it feels like she's still here by my side every day guiding me. I am so grateful for all the things she taught me, and the light she's brought to all of our lives. Thank you, Maiya, for everything.

I type this with fingers numbed by shock and disbelief but how can I not share... coz' it is for Ekta ma'am.
I remember the time when she taught us as under grads.. in our 20s, innocent and wide-eyed. And there was Ekta ma'am..not so much older herself but full of wisdom, intelligence and worldliness.. and full of true and genuine advice for all of us.
Always full of life, she had a firm but gentle hand.. in a way that her lessons always stayed with us. I still remember how her voice rang, how she would pull us up and how she would cheer us up. And when there was trouble with our college, she sided with the students rather than the authorities. She helped and guided so many of us. She was truly special.
Over the years, have watched her amazing journey and I am truly not ready to think anything more right now...but I just want her to know she's loved a lot and remembered...just as always.

I remembered an incident about a fine Friday 16th Dec 2022 when anurag sir asked for a packet of tissue and she cutely scolded him not to take it with him while eating and i was on a call with sir and we both laughed and i was like will I ever go to meet her. Life is hard enough to engulf the utmost pain.
Even while having intellectual conversations with DK sir, he always mentioned her, how he spent lovely and lively moments with her.

Dear Ekta Mam,
It was around the end of 2016 when I was looking for an opportunity for my career growth and then I applied for a job at Bridgepoint. It was you who selected me after the interview. If you wouldn't have selected me that day, I wouldn't be a part of this Organization and not sure where I would have been today in my career. You always encouraged me to be better in my life and work. You were an inspiration for girls like me who aspire to achieve heights in life. You were always there for each one of us, whenever we needed you. You always looked for the best employee experience and thus, you always asked, understood and resolved the hurdles/issues at work. I will really miss you the most because today I lost my ideal, the lifeline of bridgepoint. It's very unfortunate the day like this has come and I am writing for Ekta mam, one of the great pillars of the company.This is the biggest loss for the family, employees and company. No one can fulfill her place ever.Personally I never stand a chance to meet her but I used to listen through Alex. She was so humble and honest and always treats him like a brother. I also wanted to meet her. A: When sorrow invades our lives, it can really test our limits.
Ekta ma’am was kind, generous and down to earth lady. I still remember March 28,2017 when I came for an interview and Ekta ma’am interviewed me and I was so nervous that how could I proceed in english but the way she introduced herself and I was so comfortable that I felt like I was having conversation with a friend and that was my first interview in English.
Ekta ma’am was a great boss who always listen to everyone.

Dear Anurag, Aevah Aadya and Family,
Ekta was one of the kindest person we came across. Although we could not meet very often, she always was so warm and genuine whenever we communicated . She remembered all of our birthdays and messaged us on every important occasions of the year. Her giving nature, her patient, listening ability and her responsible advice made her soul shine ! As many of you know, she was such an amazing cook and organizer for any given event. She was a wonderful , graceful and remarkable person in all aspects. Her spirit will not be forgotten, she was a lady among ladies !
I will never forget our last rock climbing outing where we met up. She brought along homemade banana bread and we munched on it while we spoke our hearts out while Aevah Aadya and my daughters enjoyed their time together . It is a big shock and tragedy to us. We will miss her dearly , wishing you peace, comfort, courage, and lots of love and healing at this time of sorrow.

प्रिय एकता का असमय हमें छोड़कर चले जाना अकल्पनीय है। सन् 2000 में प्रिय अनुराग के साथ एकता के विवाह के समय उससे पहला परिचय हुआ था। तब से इस वर्ष अप्रैल में प्रिय अनु-एकता-एवा आद्या के साथ अंतिम प्रत्यक्ष भेंट तक में उसने अपने अपनत्व, स्नेह व सम्मान से हमारे हृदय में स्थान बना लिया था। वह एक व्यवस्थित गृहिणी थी, जो परिवार के लिए जीती थी; साथ ही अनु के व्यापार में भी उसके साथ कंधे-से-कंधा मिलाकर चलती थी। वह अनु और एवा आद्या का संसार थी। यह उसके जाने का समय नहीं था। उसे अभी बहुत जीना था। प्रभु उसे अपने श्रीचरणों में स्थान दें व उसके सभी अपनों को यह दारुण दुःख सहन करने की शक्ति प्रदान करें। प्रिय एकता, तुम कहीं भी हों, हमारी स्मृतियों में रहोगी। हम अश्रुपूरित नेत्रों से तुम्हें बिदा कर रहे हैं।

Q: What 3 words best describe Ekta and why?
A: Generous, conscientious, and competitve.
I remember spending Christmas at my parents house with the Aruns and my family and all the joyous time spent together laughing, playing games, and engaging in serious organzied Ekta like conversations.
She was always generous with her time , feelings and gave you everything she had. You never had anything less than her undivided attention no matter what. Her infectious personality and smile could light up the room and thats why I remember her as generous.
I also describe her as conscientious because of all the time she would spend with AA and Anurag and us to make sure we excelled and perfected any task or project we would set out to accomplish. I still have a painting at my house that AA gave my daughter when she was young and it had Ektas influence all over it. It reminds me of her love and dedication to the successful outcome of ones work. She wanted people to succeed.
Lastly, competitive. One story in particular . We were playing christmas games where the winner would get a small prize like a candle or box of chocolates. This particular game was to do the yoga tree pose. The Longest to do it would win. All I have to say is Ekta won. There was no way any of us would have won. She stayed there for 30 minutes in that pose . It didnt matter what the prize was, she just had a competitive spirit no matter what she was doing.
She will be missed and her memory will live on in our minds, in our hearts, and through AA .

Mam was Very Kind & Humble & always treated everyone nicely and had passion for work and treats everyone professionally at work .. Ekta Mam left us like this is unbelievable, the entire BP family has lost a person who held everyone together like a thread in a garland.
She was an orderly housewife, a very calm lady, business-minded, and a very good boss. She always behaved well with everyone and was passionate about her work. She knew every aspect of the business. She used to treat professionally with everyone at work. I never saw her getting angry with anyone, always spoke very softly to everyone.
Apart from work, she was personally attached to everyone. I remember when I was going through the bad time she called me and cheer up, and she said Anand, if you need anything, just make a call we are here for you.
We all know that life isn't fair sometimes, and we can not do anything against the wishes of God. She didn't go anywhere she is with us. it's said “ The life of one we love is never lost. Its influence goes on through all the lives it ever touched”
