Obituary of Ekta Arun

We all loved Ekta.
Ekta, meaning  Unity, United the ships, and took full ownership of
her relationships.

I am yet to meet anyone who would so selflessly put her body on
the line so solid, like she did.  

Ekta was uniquely alluring. Her outer beauty was blatantly
striking. 

No matter the set up, she was always in the prefect get up 
Her style was unique and turned heads. Her face so divine, she
looked like a Goddess. 

Her inner beauty, shone ever brighter, the more you knew her.
Ekta had this incredible might to become more and more beautiful
from the inside at each sight.

She had so many inner degrees of affection, energy and devotion
An endless well. That  Aevah Aadya, us and I, have not been able
to make our thirst quell. 

Ekta was a full scholarship. Gold medalist from the University of Toronto. A Master's
graduate, she was revered by OISE for bringing worldly
perspectives to the program and made the Arun family proud for
her scholastic contributions to Canada.

It was evident when you met Ekta that she had strong roots. Her
education in the Air Force school in Delhi gave her all the force
and courage to be the human she was. She learnt to be a captain,
love others and touch the sky of excellence.

Ekta as a daughter and daughter in law was exemplary. She
managed her time effectively to ensure that our parents needs
were catered for unceasingly. 

She spoke to my parents more than my moods, she made the
Arun relationships her own, without sacrificing her maiden roots.
Her siblings were of extremely importance, and she always made
sure they were fulfilling their competence. 

Ekta always believed that a way to a man's heart was through his
stomach. Stephen Colbert must have eavesdropped. Little she
realised it is the way to anyone's heart.
Ekta made so many friends and admirers through her culinary
skills. She remains our family’s all time favourite culinarian.
Ekta never missed feeding Aevah Aadya and I. Not a single day.
Ailing or weary, she bore to cater her family. 

Ekta was a role model and a gift and Aevah Aadya we need to
live up to lift.

It is no mystery that I am less than half the man without my team.
She has helped me be my best, recognise my own talent and
build my dream. 

Ekta as a business partner built the Bridgepoint community with
her sacrifices, encouragement and pride in our identity.  
Ekta was everything to me , and now I will be everything to Ekta .
She left us with the most beautiful gift, our son , Aayansh Raj 
Ekta Arun. Through her pregnancy Ekta kept telling us this one is
going to be like me , a selfless soul.... As if she knew. Aayansh
played with us all beyond his years for 5 memorable days, before
renouncing himself to his heavenly mother. 

 Aevah aadya,: maiya has taken away 2 wells from us, but she
came in my dreams and has left behind many other magical wells,
to which paths we both have to now smell.

For all of us gathered here, She has only left the room, but not
checked out.... She will never check out on anyone of us. She is
watching and we all love Ekta.

To ensure that Ektaism lives on, the Arun family will be
establishing a lifelong charitable fund by the name of Ekta Arun
Foundation, focussing on children and old age parents. Hari Om
