In the tapestry of our family, we will dearly miss the bright, joyous, and disciplined thread you represented, fondly known as Major I.K. Hasija, Manu, IK bhaya, IK uncle, Papa, Daddu, Papa Naanu and IK Naanu.
You left us peacefully on the auspicious day of October 20, 2023 in Markham, surrounded by your loved ones. Leaving us with emptiness in your absence. You also left us with fond memories of your joyous laughter, mischievous smile, the glint in your eyes, and our hearts ever filled with happiness, and pride in the service of your family and country. A pillar of strength in our lives and will continue to be our North Star, giving us direction.
Forever remembered by your children Jothica, Prateek, Pranav, Kaveri and grand children Rishi, Keshavi, and Ishaan. Your brothers and sister and their families, along with those that served with you.
You will for ever be a part of the tapestry that makes up the Hasija clan. May your journey always start with the battle cry “Chatrapathi Shivaji Maharaji Ki Jay!!” a brave and valiant soldier to the front line.
