I am a patient in the Hemodialysis program of Toronto General Hospital in Toronto where I had the honour of associating with beloved Pamela. I came to know that Pamela was a beautiful and kind soul that with her comforting soft smile created a serene and peaceful atmosphere in her surrounding and no matter what might have been going on with her own health, she made you feel as if you were her only problem to find a solution for.
Pamela was always accompanied by her devoted son, Ron, who provided her with such a caring attitude that exemplified the behaviour that every parent desires. His gentle care was as if he knew first hand the nature and intensity of his mother's physical discomfort.
There is no doubt that I and other patients in hemodialysis program will sadly miss Pamela's presence among us but I have no question that her family and other friends will miss her greatly, too so for the comfort of all of us, I feel it is seemly to end my note by quoting few lines of a prayer from sacred writings of my Faith (1) for the departed souls: "Cause her, O Lord, to be overshadowed by the clouds of Thy bounty and favor, immerse her in the ocean of Thy forgiveness and clemency, and enable her to enter the sanctified abode, Thy heavenly Paradise".
My husband and I wish Ron and rest of his family the solace and tranquility of their heart and mind.
